I'm glad to see she is performing this one live, it's one of my favorites off her latest album.
I hadn't noticed the Smuggler's Blues similarity but I can hear it now that you mention it. Still, I think it's a good song in it's own right.
As for a solution, I say we overgenerate clean (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal) domestically produced electricity domesticallly and convert to electric vehicles wherever possible. Then the uses for oil go down and the supply lasts longer.

I can actually see this happening in real life.

Thanks, crowarchive! This is simple Nile Rodgers-like Funk/R&B music, with Crow-political lyrics. Hey, can't a White Girl get funky? OK, I hope she does not try too much to be funky, or rap; this is enough. The worst part of this video; listening to Ellen De *Generates* voice!

Sounds like Frey's Smuglers Blues.

Is she doing a Dylan imitation?

the song itself is horrible, but i agree with Sheryl's lyrics - we must drill, drill here, drill NOW. If we increase the supply of oil, snipers on the roof will not be necessary.

A really good song and as Charlie Watts once said "she looks good too".
