ahahaha, I think it's funny how the conversation has totally gone off 'the proclaimers' or 'Peter Kay' and gone directly to 'David Tennant'. Did anyone see Basil Brush!?

nooooooo. Scottish as hell. With a last name like MacDonald, it's gotta be wouldn't it. My name's Mcguire, and look, come on! I think it's a BIT of a give away that he's wearing a kilt.

emm don't relie on wikipedia for information he is indeed scottish is mum's funeral was last year and it was about 5 minutes away from my house. the local paper had a little message saying that it was nothing to do with David Tennent or dr who and fans where asked to keep away as this is an extreemly hard time for his family. in dr who he tones down his accent for the , but he tends to speak in a more prounced scottish wa =y on dr who confendtial and talk shows

lol sorry, didn't see this comment saying he is actually Scottish.

David Tennant is Scottish. This is what Wikipedia says, "David Tennant (born David John McDonald;[3] 18 April 1971) is a Scottish actor."
The word "welsh" is only used once on David's wikipedia page and it's not saying he's Welsh, it says, "2007 - Welsh BAFTAs, Best Actor: Doctor Who"
So yeah, he's Scottish not Welsh.
