that is the MOST intelligent thing ever posted on you tube. michael beck was absolutely horrendous and how he was ever cast is a complete mystery. as for the movie though, it was still a lousy movie and i remember my girlfriend way back when forced me to take her to see this when it was released aeons ago. Olivia Newton-John is still gorgeous and loved ELO but michael beck was horrific and still is.

It's official , this is my all time second favorite elo number , mr.blue sky takes number 1 for me.
notice that both of my choices do not speak to a specific gender which I like very much.
For some reason I approve highly of gender neutral material , I'm male so don't get any funny ideas lol

Actually, I will agree with you with everything except the direction and Michael Beck as the lead. ELO, Kelly and Olivia save the movie. The problem is there is no credibilty w/ Beck and John because there is no chemistry onscreen. |
