More ways I use to increase mpg in addition to HHO. Engines run cooler, emissions are lower, and engine noise is quieted dramatically. How? I'm not a mechanic so I couldnt tell you. I've been using this stuff for 4 months with no ill effects to the engine. MPG increases will vary due to engine size, driving habits, car weight, city vs highway driving, etc. but your mpg will increase, your emissions will go down and your engine will run cooler. Acetone reduces surface tension in gasoline (fuels) which causes more complete vaporization, meaning less wasted fuel, hence increased gas mileage due to improved thermal efficiency. Normally any unburned fuel would exit the tailpipe or past the rings. Acetone allows gasoline to behave more like propane. The degree of improved gas mileage (15-35%) depends on how much unburned fuel you are presently wasting. Results will vary with fuel octane choice. As acetone does increase the octane one should use a lower octane fuel at the pump. It is suggested (based on tests) that you add 2.5 to 3 oz of 100% pure acetone per 10 gallons of gasoline (less for diesel fuel). Additional benefits are reduced emissions by up to 60% in gasoline fueled engines and reduced black smoke in diesel engines. Adding more acetone doesn't improve mileage any further but will continue to improve emissions. Downside; don't spill any acetone on that paintjob or plastic. Checkout the web site noted above. Add the acetone using a measured container with a long funnel or tube. Don't store the acetone in plastic bottles. Wearing gloves is a good idea.

Hey, I got a 2005 scooby wrx with 300ghp and get avg 25mpg. Im not exactly slim myself. Your car is realy thirsty. Are you running it on high octane fuel, if not try that it should help a lot. Also add an intercooler water spray. Trust me it helps. Loads quicker to.

question, so I use a diesel right. And here we measure in Litres not gallons, say I use 200 ml of Acetone and 200ml of Xylene, will that be appropriate? And I just pour it into the fuel tank? PLS Pm me, need to know this info. Tks bro.

all the weight saving advice, leaving the heaviest dead weight of all the driver. I own a 2008 Suabaru wrx with avg 16.8 mpg. My weight is 251 Lbs so the best thing I can do is go on a diet, this is a good weight and health saving tip for car and driver :-)

I ment to say that the acetone made the gasoline burn HOTTER, "in my engine". It has flat top pistons (higher compression), one step bigger injectors and 1.6 rocker arms. It could also be that the HHO system i just installed was not playing nice with the 3 ounces of acetone?????

What does "slightly modified" mean exactly? Acetone promotes a more complete combustion of gasoline that would otherwise not get wasted out the exhaust as higher emissions.
